ACHNE Committees are Back after a Summer Break

After a busy year of conferences and academic work, the ACHNE committees took a well-deserved summer break in July. No committee updates were available for publication during this time, but the committees are hard at work and were back in session in August with exciting new projects and reports. In the meantime, if you're feeling really ambitious, you can read through the minutes of their previous meetings on the ACHNE members-only Committee Pages. We look forward to sharing more news from the ACHNE committees in September.

ACHNE President & Immediate Past Presidents to be inducted as Fellows in the American Academy of Nursing!

ACHNE President Krista Jones and Immediate Past President Lori Edwards will be inducted as FAAN Fellows. The American Academy of Nursing recognizes nurses for their "substantial, sustained, and outstanding impact on health and health care." This year's inductees are the largest class to be inducted, representing 40 states, Washington, D.C., and 13 countries. The American Academy of Nursing has reached more than 3,000 members, who are all experts in "policy, research, administration, practice, and academia that champion health and wellness, locally and globally."
