ACHNE's 2025 Legislative Priorities: Shaping the Future of Community Health Nursing

This year, the policy committee developed legislative priorities, based on input from ACHNE members during the 2023 Annual Institute.

We started with policy issues and focused our language, using the ACHNE vision, mission, and CALM strategic plan.  We also used language from the World Health Organization’s integrated people-centered care framework, the PHN core competencies framework (PHN Scope & Standards – ANA, 2022), and the Population Health domain of the AACN (2021) Essentials.

The ACHNE Executive Committee approved the legislative priorities in February 2025, and policy committee member Stacy Arriola developed an infographic for us to use across platforms.
